Keys
We got the keys to the house last night. The washer and dryer are there. The tenant left a bunch of random crap: mattress, tv in a cabinet, food, shoes, batting helmet, computer chair, ect. Today I am going to try to get some work done, then take Alex over there with me for a couple hours to clean up some. I'll have to bring him back to his house around 3 when his dad gets home, then back to the house. Joao is going to meet me there after he gets off work and fills up his car. We didn't load his car up last night. Not going to have a car with stuff in it sitting in a prison parking lot. That's just asking for trouble. I'm leaving tonight by 7:30 though, because I want to see House lol. Tomorrow I get to spend all day there waiting on the gas guy. Woohoo. | | Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 | | 9:58 am |
Angry
I am so ticked off right now. According to our purchase agreement, we get all the appliances in the house. That includes the washer and dryer. It says washer and dryer on the list. The tenant moved out the washer and dryer. Apparently they are his, which is fine, whatever, but that means that the seller owes us a washer and dryer. Its in the legal agreement. The realator told us this morning he is talking to them to reach an agreement. Here's your agreement, you stated we get a working washer and dryer and we are. Then let's see, instead of meeting up to give us the key, it's hidden under a rock. The tenant is going to leave his keys on the counter tonight instead of last night like he said, but whatever. The thing that pisses me off is the washer and dryer deal. | | Sunday, October 18th, 2009 | | 6:18 pm |
Ugh
My neighbors are trying to kill me. They were burning incense today. not plan old incence sticks, but that hard core strong church incense. The kind that makes me have a nasty allergic reaction. I woke up with a killer heache and nauseous. Of course, I had no idea why until we opened the door. Had to air out the apartment. Now only my head hurts. It's not as bad, but it won't go away. Taken several excedrine. Just have to remember. Moving in 13 days | | Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 | | 9:51 am |

Frustrated
We are now home owners. We take possession on Oct. 25. Joao is going through his depressed bit. He does this once or twice a year. Gets all bummed about everything. I think he's been so preoccupied with this house stuff he hasn't processed anything else recently. Plus, his new supervisor is an class A moron who lied on her resume to get the job. Really hope he bounces back soon. | | Monday, September 14th, 2009 | | 11:53 am |
Wow
I don't follow what goes on in entertainment, but I read the thing Kanye West did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs and wow, what a douchbag. Props to Beyonce for inviting Taylor up during her time. That was so nice. | | Saturday, August 22nd, 2009 | | 6:58 pm |
House hunting
We got pre-approved for a home loan. We went to go see this house in New Castle. It was horrible. A hole. There was actually a hole in the floor. It stunk. And the worst part? Fleas. We walked in and fleas attacked us. I now have fleas in my car. With any luck, they are dead now. I hosed it with flea spray earlier. Gave the cats a flea bath. I saw one on Leia and one hopped on me while I was brushing Cocoa. I sprayed the carpets. I hope that stops them before they go nuts. It's gross. I feel like they are crawling all over me. The realtor had not been in the house yet. He showed us another one, which was okay, but it was laid out like a camper and the bathroom had no shower. There was a tub and the way it was, it would be way too much work to put one in. We are going to look at one on Monday night in Alexandria. Driven by it and it looks okay on the outside. The pictures look okay, but we'll find out. My last day at Huffer was yesterday. I'm going to be watching Alex, who will be four soon, for a few hours mon-thurs. then doing my online stuff that I have been doing for awhile. | | Thursday, August 6th, 2009 | | 8:05 pm |

HBP Review. There are spoilers. Okay, I've seen it twice now. I think the rating should be uped to PG-13 though. Here goes: I think the Harry/Ginny relationship is one of the most illogical relationship ever written, so the lack of it was a total win with me. I thought the humor balanced out the ending well. Lavender was just great. She was so annoying it was funny. There could not be a more pathetic role played. The actress did great with it. The love potion scene was awesome. That was too funny. The luck potion (I can't spell it lol) was too funny. His attitude reminded me of Austin Powers. I was ready to hear "Hagrid's is the place to be, Yeah baby, yeah!" The line Ron said after the Harry/Ginny thing (So did you do it?) was too funny. I thought the end was handled very well. The Inferi were so creepy! Highlight to read: The wand thing worked well. I think the funeral would have been dragging it out a little too much. Hagrid's reaction was crap, though. I did not like that Harry was just standing there. He should have been stunned. The Burrow scene didn't bug me too much. See I think they are building up a Molly hating Bellatrix thing. I've never really cared much for Draco, but in this movie, wow. Felton was awesome! I didn't care much for Narcissa. What was up with her hair? The only things that I think were important that was left out was (highlight to read) there was no mention of Voldemorte's obsession with Hogwarts items and we did not see the diadem in the Room of Requirement. Overall, I throurougly enjoyed the movie. I thought it was done well. | | 7:45 pm |

Motivation
I really need to do a bunch of freelance articles. I've got some claimed and the more I do the more money I make, I just have no motivation right now. I'd like to use the money I get from this to make student loan payments. Of course, I also lose my job Aug. 14. Naturally they didn't tell me that, I overheard it. I've been applying like mad, but nothing calls me back but insurance companies. At least my dad got called back to his job for awhile. Current Mood: frustrated | | 11:45 am |

Okay, this is pretty funny. Find Snape pathetic, but whatever. Sorry Sara! | Who is your Harry Potter Mate Your Result: Severus Snape You like your mate with a dry wit and a sharp tounge. I really want a new job
I'm working with the school agers. These are not normal schoolagers. The amount of problems they cause is massively huge. I understand that many come from rough neighborhoods, but that is no excuse for disrespect and backtalking. I'm suppose to teach them math. Yeah right. I'm a HORRIBLE at math, plus I am not a trained elementary school teacher. The guy who normally does it is in Florida. He didn't leave me stuff for them to do. I don't get paid to do lesson plans. That is not my job. He was suppose to have stuff to do. It's been so bad. All I do is yell and I don't like to. They insult me, of course, which really doesn't matter. I had one call me a stupid b**** over and over again. He stopped when he finally figured out that I wasn't going to react. And of course, no one will help. What am I suppose to do when three start a fist fight and others are arguring and throwing stuff? I'm only one person and there are 20+ of them. So yeah... today... It started off okay. Even math went okay. I was thinking hey, maybe today won't be too bad. Boy was I wrong. After 3:30, it all went to hell. The kids got in trouble for throwing a toy and the bad behavior took off like a shot. The last hour was the worst. I was by myself. I got called all sorts of names, including racist, which of course I am not. I don't really care if they don't like me, but I'd rather not be insulted while parents are picking up the little kids walking by. Those kids and parents shouldn't have to hear those school agers mouths. It's not fair to them. It took them forever to clean up because they would not talk whining. I actually got told that I wanted the days of the slaves back because I was treating them like slaves making them pick up the toys THEY threw around the room. I mean seriously. I didn't even respond to that. I just ignored it. I left a note for the person in charge of the school age program telling her how horrible they were. I don't like to do that, but something has to be done if I am going to get through tomorrow. | | Saturday, June 6th, 2009 | | 2:06 pm |
Lurking a crime? Wtf
Since when did lurking become a crime? I'm on this site and this girl doesn't post much and apparently these people think its a capital offense. One girl went so far as to say her kids log on her account and that lurker makes her a creepy person. Wow, I mean really. Talk about nuts. Our Wedding
The wedding went well. Joao got up and met my maid of honor Sara to get the rental chairs. My grandmother gave me a music box that plays Here Comes the Bride. It randomly started playing when I needed to get up. I was already awake. My mom mentioned that it was super sensitive to movements. The box kind of depresses me because it makes me think of my grandfather who passed away in Fall 2004. I was upset over that for a little bit. I went to get the flowers from Marsh. My mom's best friend ordered them for me because I had had problems there. See, they can do more than one wedding. I wanted to tell the woman that, but I was good and didn't. We didn't tell her it was for a wedding but I think she figured it out. Then I had to go get my hair done, which took forever. I have way too thick hair and the top doesn't like to cooperate. I had to get my sister's and I's dresses and my veil from my grandma after that and was finally able to get to the park. I didn't get there till a little after 12 and I had planned on being there by 11:45. My mom and sister had everything that we hadn't done the night before pretty much done. My sister got ready then my mom got annoyed at me for not getting ready right away. I had to wear this grey sweatshirt jacket backwards to protect my dress. We did the pictures went pretty quickly, which was good because it was hot. Joao and I got a few pictures after the ceremony too. We went down at like 10 till 3, later than I wanted but I wasn't paying attention. I had to go to the bathroom which was an event in my dress . We started the ceremony at 3:07. I didn't really see the crowd or the set up that well. My sister led the bridesmaids and she almost had a panic attack. I tripped after my dad gave me away. Good thing Joao was holding on to me. There were steps on the gazebo. I stepped on one of the underlayers of my dress. I had to pick it up and carry it. I glanced back at my mom and she was trying not to laugh. Some people did. I didn't trip, people wouldn't have believe that it was actually me up there. The ceremoney went well. My dad played a song and sang. It went pretty fast. The minister's prayers were very good. I refused to look at my mom because I wasn't going to cry. I hate crying. I almost did after me and Joao went down the aisle cause I heard my sister bawling, but I got it together. The reception wasn't like I expected but it was good. We ate then cut the cake and did a toast. His sister bought us the stuff to do it, but we didn't have any for anyone else, which I felt kind of bad, but what can we do? Then Joao and I did our first dance, which was so funny. The song we picked didn't work, so we did Aerosmith "Don't Want to Miss a Thing." Halfway through Joao started acting like Steven Tyler. The crowd was rolling. It was so funny. Then my Dad and I did our dance to that song "All of My Love." It went well. Easier than I thought it would be. We hung out a little bit after that. I'm glad we did because my cousins's kids wanted to do the Chicken Dance, which I hate but it was so funny. One of my cousins, Jason, did it too. It was hiliarious. We left a little bit after that. Oh and the funniest part was the cake cutting. We couldn't get the piece out at first then when we fed eachother, I smeared it all over his face. I even got it in his ear! I had some in my hair, but I got him better. Christel took a video of it. It was a great day. We went back to the hotel and had a good night. Christel made use a gorgeous scrapbook to put our wedding pictures in. We are really excited about it. I don't have any pictures to post right now. I'm hoping some people who took some on their digital cameras will e-mail them to me soon. I forgot our camera at home. I was going to give it to my cousin and have her take some at the reception. It was a great day and I will never forget it. Current Mood: loved | | Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 | | 8:51 am |
